Milan Station reviews the luxury items it offers for sale and maintains authentication documentation where applicable.
Authentication review
Milan Station uses item-specific review and available authentication documentation as part of its resale process. Depending on the piece, this may include review of construction, materials, hardware, date or production markings, serial or microchip information where applicable, provenance and supporting third-party authentication documentation.
If an authentication report is available for the specific item you are considering, ask the store what documentation is included or can be shown before purchase.
Condition disclosure
Pre-owned luxury merchandise can show wear. Product photographs form part of the condition disclosure. Listings may identify corners, handles, glazing, leather, canvas, hardware, lining, odor, structure, marks, repairs, alterations, accessories and other condition details when known and material.
“Brand New,” “Like New,” “Excellent,” “Very Good,” and similar labels are descriptive resale condition grades, not manufacturer warranties.
If you have an authenticity concern
Contact Milan Station promptly and keep the item, packaging, tags, authentication materials and purchase records intact. We may request a written opinion from a qualified independent authentication provider and may require return of the item for review. If Milan Station confirms that an item sold as authentic is not authentic, we will provide the appropriate refund after return and verification.
